Sichuan Tourism University News Network (Correspondent:ZhangYiyi)A visiting group comprising Dilshod Ismailov, dean of the School of Management at Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan), Zebo Kuldasheva, associate professor from the Department of International Economic Relations, and Ye Maoqing, director of the Central Asia Division at the Chengdu Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises, toured SCTU. Li Jinjun, member of the Standing Committee of the university CPC committee and vice president, hosted the guests in Meeting Room 1 and chaired a bilateral exchange forum. Representatives from theOffice of International Cooperation and Exchange, the School of International Education and the School of Economics and Management were present.

Li Jinjun gave the delegation a warm reception. He said educational partnerships between China and Uzbekistan form a key channel for people-to-people links and training globally focused professionals. He outlined three priorities for future joint work: First, boost joint training schemes via shared resources and two-way staff and student mobility; Second, grow cross-cultural dialogue by supporting staff and student activities that build mutual understanding; Third, widen multi-area collaboration including joint research and academic exchanges to deliver shared benefits for both sides.
Dilshod Ismailov thanked SCTU for its hospitality and outlined the profile of Tashkent State University of Economics and its School of Management. He voiced strong enthusiasm for deeper cooperation, adding the two institutions hold complementary strengths in tourism and economic management that create wide scope for joint projects. He hopes to deliver tangible results in student and staff training, lifting the level of bilateral academic cooperation.
The two sides held detailed talks on possible joint initiatives including student mobility and short-term study schemes and reached broad agreement. Both institutions will build on this visit to move planned cooperation forward and strengthen Sino-Uzbek educational ties.
