Zhou Bin,heis a professor at Ningbo University. His research mainly focuses on tourism and leisure, as well as the environmental impact of tourism. He has led 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China, 1 project funded by the Ministry of Education of China, 1 project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and 2 projects funded by the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office. He has published two academic monographs.

Hehas been published more than 60 papers in SSCI and SCI journals, including the Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Current Issues in Tourism, International Journal of Tourism Research, Journal of Leisure Research, Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism, Tourism Management Perspectives, Tourism Recreation Research, Ecological Indicators, Environment Development and Sustainability, as well as Chinacore journals such as Geographical Research, Geography Science, Tourism Tribune, Journal of Natural Resources, Geography Science Progress, Resources Science, Progress in Geography, among others.

Zhou Bin serves as an editorial board member for "Chinese Ecotourism," Vice Chairman of the Tourism Resources Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Natural Resources, a member of the Tourism Ecology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China, and a member of the Tourism Management Professional Committee of the China Association of Management Science.
