Zheng Xiangmin, Ph.D. Professor, Doctor Supervisor. He is a leading figure in the field of tourism at Huaqiao University. He is the founding dean of the School of Tourism at Huaqiao University and the School of Tourism at Wuyi University. He served as the Director of the High Vocational Education Committee of the Ministry of Education and a national-level star rater of the China Hotel Star Rating Committee. He is a member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Master of Tourism Administration (MTA) programs under the Ministry of Education and led the expert group for the revision of tourism safety management regulations under the former National Tourism Administration.Currently, he serves as an assessment expert for higher vocational colleges appointed by the Ministry of Education and a tourism safety expert for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He is the director and chief expert of the Tourism Safety Research Base at the China Tourism Academy, as well as the dean of the Tourism Safety Research Institute at Huaqiao University. Additionally, he is the chairman of the National Tourism Professional Committee of the Alliance for Applied Curriculum Construction. He also holds part-time positions as a distinguished professor or soft-introduced professor at several universities including Macao University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Sport, Taishan University, Hezhou University, Sanming University, Putian University, Hainan Vocational and Technical College, Leshan Normal University, and Sichuan Tourism University.

ProfessorZheng has published over 400 papers in SSCI, CSSCI, and CSCD journals such as "Tourism Economics," "Tourism Tribune," "Safety Management Engineering," "Geographical Research," "Economic Geography," and "Human Geography." He has led and participated in 4 National Social Science Foundation projects, 2 National "Fifteen-Year Plan" textbook projects, 2 National "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" textbook projects, 4 overseas cooperative research projects, and 19 provincial-level research projects. He has authored 5 national-level textbooks, published 35 monographs and textbooks, and completed over 60 horizontal research projects (with a total funding of over 12 million yuan). He has been honored with titles such as "Meritorious Figure of 60 Years of Brilliance in the Chinese Hotel Industry," the "Gold Five-Star Honor Certificate," one of the "Top Ten Influential Teachers in the Chinese Hotel Industry Education and Training," and the "Best Gardener Award in the Chinese Hotel Industry for 30 Years." He also holds various industry positions, including tourism safety advisor to the Wuyi Mountain Management Committee and chief expert for hotel construction and development advisor to Fujian Zhonglv Hotel Management Group, Fujian Ningde Guotou Group, and Fujian Jiaotou Group.
