Hu Beiming

Hu Beiming, Ph.D. Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He obtained his Master's degree in Tourism Management and his Ph.D. in Cultural Heritage and Tourism Development from Sichuan University. Currently, he holds the positions of Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration and Vice Dean of the Guizhou Tourism Economy and Management Research Institute at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics. He is also in charge of the secondary discipline of tourism management, and serves as the leader of the construction of a national first-class undergraduate program in tourism management at Guizhou University of Finance and Economics. Additionally, he is a director of the Tourism Education Branch of the China Tourism Association, an academic leader in philosophy and social sciences (management) in Guizhou Province, and the chief expert of the Smart Tourism Innovation Team in ordinary higher education institutions in Guizhou Province.

Hu Beiming has published over 50 academic papers in various journals, including more than 20 papers in core journals indexed by CSSCI, with 4 papers reprinted in full by the People's Congress Press's "Tourism Management" Digest. He has authored 5 monographs published by Science Press and others. He has led 3 projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and 7 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels, receiving 4 awards from provincial and ministerial research institutions such as the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

He has been involved in planning numerous regional tourism industry plans at the provincial, municipal, and county levels. He has led over 100 planning projects including those for World Heritage tourist destinations, national and provincial scenic spots, and national historical and cultural cities and towns. Additionally, he has been involved in the planning and implementation of upgrade strategies for various types of tourist attractions.
