Zhang Yurong,she is professor and postdoctoral co-supervisor at Chongqing Jiaotong University. She serves as the Dean of the School of Tourism and Media, and is also an expert evaluator for the National Social Science Foundation. Additionally, she is a member of the Tourism Transportation Committee of the China Highway and Transportation Society. ProfessorZhang has been recognized as a leading talent in innovation in Chongqing, as well as a key young and middle-aged backbone teacher in universities in Chongqing. She leads the collaborative innovation team for the integration development of culture, tourism, and green transportation in Chongqing.

Her main research focus is on the integration development of tourism corridors and transportation, and she has led three projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation (including one key project) and over 20 projects at the provincial and ministerial levels. Zhang has published over 60 academic papers and authored more than 10 books. She has received over 10 awards including the Chongqing Development Research Award, Chongqing Teaching Achievement Award, and the Science and Technology Award from the China Highway and Transportation Society.
